Match report Brentwood on winning the toss inserted Park on a good Gallows Corner pitch. After losing an early wicket Craig Bray (34) and Danny Rees (62)took the score past 100 and it looked like the homw side were on track for a total well in excess of 200. Alas, not to be from a score of 137-3 Park collapsed dramatically to be all out for 150 with many overs to spare. It was down to poor shot selection, good catching and the bowling of Peter Bainbridge (5-46) who turned the game with 3 wickets in an over.

Chasing this modest total, Brentwood were perhaps over confident to start, found themselves in trouble against the Park opening attack who reduces them to 12-3 before an injury forced O'neil out of the attack. With loads of time their middle orderdug in with Barry Brooks (32no) eventually leading Brentwood to victory by 5 wickets inside the last 20 overs. All credit to the Park players in the field who tried to make up for a dismal batting performance.
