Loughton declaring on 255-3 leaving Park with 54 overs to chase down a needed victory.
Nick Carlier 102 and 15 year old M.Gymer 72 put together a first wicket partnership of 186. Andy Churchill produced a fine controlled spell of spin finally having Carlier stumped and Andy Berry also producing accurate bowling into a howling gale picking the remaining 2 wickets.
Loughtons total was looking even bigger when Park got off to the worst start losing Barry Hyam in the first over. Things really didnt get much better as wickets fell steadily as the wicket proceeded to be harder to score on than originally thought. Rudi Filmalter 37 , Leigh Davey 46 and a fine first X1 half century from Matt Sutton 59 not out were the contributors for Park as they were bowled out for 189 to hand Loughton their first victory of the season.
