Match report Given the previous 2 performances this was a particular disappointing result. Asked to bat first park made it to 219-5 from their 50 overs. Again Chris Collier and Asim Razzaq batted well scoring 49 and 52 respectively. Baber Choudhary again making a well compiled 31 before being run out. Park would have felt that whilst that score was defendable it would really need a good bowling performance and the wicket not too flatten out.
Jakk Carver marked his 1st team league debut with a wicket with the first ball he bowled removing Tibbenham for a golden duck. Steady bowling from Choudhary again marked a fine all round performance from him but when the hadleigh batsmen in the likes of Blake, Boughtwood took on the slow bowling and won Park always struggled to stay in the game. With the wicket completely flat Hadleigh made staedy headway to their target. Russ Collard bowling well claiming the wicket of the overseas Blake well caught by Chris Webber down the leg side. With Ejaz Khan returning and taking the wicket of Rowe well caught by Carver Park had a sniff but that was as good as it got as Boughtwood 65 and Soileux 25 saw the visitors home without further loss for a deserved victory.
