A disappointing defeat for GP&R U13's against a solid but not spectacular Hornchurch team. A steady start from GP&R , with Halsey and Renvoize scoring 13 apiece, saw the home side to 50 for 1 after 12 overs, but wickets tumbled at a steady rate and leg spinner Watson took two wickets for no runs in two tidy overs at the end to restrict GP&R to just 67 for 7. The total was never going to be enough and despite some tidy bowling from David Brett (1 for 8 off 3), and Sharma (1 for 11 of 3), plus two wickets from Renvoize, Hornchurch reached the target with 6 overs to spare.
