But the batting of Doz who hit 102 changed the course of this game completely, this meant East Essex were eventually bowled out for 179 from 39.4 overs, Aussie Scott Wallace being the pick of the Park bowlers with 3 for 36. Park's batting was dissapointing on this seaming wicket, losing early wickets young Matt Hiscock held the innings together with a fine 37, but he lacked support from the rest of the batting. Park eventually losing the game by 36 runs.
