A stunning last-ball win in the u11 match away to Rainham.
Good batting late on by the home team saw them post a target of 284 and early wickets meant GP had to chase hard. It was always going to be close through the last 5 overs and sitting at 280 going into the last six balls, everything was to play for.
With three balls to go, GP had scored 286 but their bowler dropped a hard return and we were able to coast it home , eventually winning by 4 runs.
The players left the field to a standing ovation by all parents and a huge thanks to both teams for a stunning match.
